Sydney to Blue Mountains
Take in the iconic Sydney harbour en route to the Blue Mountains National Park. Head off for an afternoon of waterfall chasing and walk through the dramatic scenery of steep cliffs and eucalyptus forests. Tuck in for an unforgettable sunset on our first night together.
Blue Mountains to Hunter Valley
Known locally as “The Hunter”, there are over 150 wineries to choose from in Hunter Valley, so let’s not be fussy. Known for its Shiraz, you can get to know your fellow travellers over a glass before another incredible sunset over the Hunter Valley hills.
Hunter Valley to Spot X Surf Camp
Start the day by meeting our fluffy Koala friends at the Port Macquarie Kolala hospital. After a stunning drive along the coastline, we land at the famous Spot X Surf Camp. Head down to the beach to spend the afternoon exploring the white sandy beach and even squeeze in a quick dip.
Spot X Surf Camp to Byron Bay
Today you’ll have the opportunity to get familiar with paddling, pushing and popping up as you learn to surf those gentle waves. After a well-deserved lunch, enjoy the scenic drive up the coastline into the laid back coastal town of Byron Bay. Settle in just in time to catch the sunset over the iconic lighthouse.
Cycle to Australia’s most eastern point, show the locals your new surf skills, kayak around the cape to spot some marine life or have a day by the beach and sample the quirky local cafes. Exploring Byron Bay can be low-key or action packed!
Byron Bay to Brisbane
Journey into the state of Queensland, known for the tropics, beaches and amazing wildlife. We'll travel through the famous Gold Coast before spending the afternoon in Brisbane. Explore local boutiques, relax at the lagoon or head to the World's largest Koala sanctuary.
Brisbane to Noosa
For the next part of our adventure we take a scenic train ride to the coastal town of Noosa Heads. You’ll have time to relax on beautiful golden sand beaches, walk some epic trails, or explore Noosa by kayak.
Noosa via Fraser Island
Today we visit the world’s largest sand island, Fraser Island. A highlight for many travellers with it's endless golden beaches, pristine rainforests, huge creeping sandblow deserts, crystal clear freshwater lakes, mosaic coloured sands. Spend the day exploring everything before we return to Noosa for the night.
Noosa to Airlie Beach
Enjoy a sleep in and make the most of the chilled-out vibes around Noosa. Have a morning of kayaking, paddle boarding, or just laze around in the hammock. Tonight, we venture north on the train and experience travel at its finest on the Spirit of Queensland.
Airlie Beach to Whitsundays
Start the day with breakfast by the water after we arrive into Airlie Beach bright and early. Make sure you have your swimmers packed as we set sail for the stunning waters of the Whitsunday Islands. Be prepared to indulge in some relaxing, sunbathing and snorkelling with 24 hours of sun, sea and sails!
Whitsundays to Airlie Beach
Fancy a sunrise dip on the reef? Of course! Enjoy your last swim in the turquoise waters and snorkel with the tropical marine life before we head back to dry land in the late afternoon. As we head back to town, spend some time stretching our legs exploring town before dinner.
Airlie Beach - Cairns
Get lost in the incredible views from the train as we continue the journey into northern Queensland and the tropics. Cairns is the launch pad to the Great Barrier Reef and home to one of the oldest rainforests in the world.
Today is the day you’ll have a chance to strike things off that bucket list! Cairns has so much to offer in the way of adrenaline and heart-pumping activities. Jump 15,000ft over the reef, bungy jump in the jungle, or dive into the underwater wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef.
Today we will head to Atherton Tablelands to explore Cairns’ lush rainforest and tropical waterfalls. We’ll take our time to discover the area’s incredible Millaa Millaa Falls as we reflect on all the incredible experiences we have shared together before we say farewell to each other.
