Itinerary

Day 1

Brisbane to Noosa

Get ready to start your epic adventure as we take a scenic train ride to the stunning beachside town of Noosa Heads. Get to know your Wild Kiwi fam on the train as you plan your afternoon. You’ll have time to relax on the golden sand beaches, walk the rugged coastal track, or explore by kayak.

Day 2

Noosa

Enjoy a sleep in and make the most of the chilled-out vibes around Noosa. Have a morning of kayaking, paddle boarding, or just laze around in the hammock. Search for Koalas in the National Park or visit one of the many boutiques or cafes in town. Then grab your Wild Kiwi mates and spend the evening at one of the many local restaurants.

Day 3

Fraser Island

Today we visit the world’s largest sand island, Fraser Island. A highlight for many travellers with it's endless golden beaches, pristine rainforests, huge creeping sandblow deserts, crystal clear freshwater lakes, mosaic coloured sands. Spend the day exploring everything before we venture north on the train and experience travel at its finest on the Spirit of Queensland.

Day 4 & 5

Whitsundays

Start the day with breakfast by the water after we arrive into Airlie Beach bright and early. Make sure you have your swimmers packed as we set sail for the stunning waters of the Whitsunday Islands. Be prepared to indulge in some relaxing, sunbathing and snorkelling while spending the next 2 days filled with sun, sea and sails!

Day 6

Whitsundays to Airlie Beach

Fancy a sunrise dip on the reef? Of course! Enjoy your last swim in the turquoise waters and snorkel with the tropical marine life before we head back to dry land in the late afternoon. As we head back to town, spend some time stretching our legs exploring town before dinner.

Day 7

Airlie Beach to Cairns

Get lost in the incredible views from the train as we continue the journey into northern Queensland and the tropics. Cairns is the launch pad to the Great Barrier Reef and home to one of the oldest rainforests in the world.

Day 8

Cairns

Today is the day you’ll have a chance to strike things off that bucket list! Cairns has so much to offer in the way of adrenaline and heart-pumping activities. Jump 15,000ft over the reef, bungy jump in the jungle, or dive into the underwater wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef. Then enjoy the famous Cairns nightlife on your last night with your Wild Kiwi fam.

Day 9

Cairns

Spend the morning enjoying any of the adventure activities you didn't squeeze in yesterday. From waterfall chasing to skydiving, Cairns will not disappoint! Filled with adrenaline, catch up with your Wild Kiwi family to reflect on the incredible experiences we have shared together before we say farewell to each other.

The bus trips were excellent and traveling with a smaller group was far more fun then the larger tour groups. Got to see many things a long the way with plenty of stops. Would definitely recommend this trip. Made family and friends back home very jealous.

I could go on and on but I believe with other reviews, this company's reputation speaks for itself. Mahalo for a wonderful time. Aloha!

Why Wild Kiwi

Our Vehicles

Our vehicles get wolf whistles wherever they go – and for good reason, with massive windows to give you an incredible view (they’re tinted too, to protect you from baking in the sun), USB ports and enough leg room to stretch out. There’s also unlimited WIFI available – Talk about the high life!

Our Guides

We find epic humans with a love for NZ, a fondness for creating good times, and the gift of the gab when we put them behind the wheel, tasked with giving you the EXPERIENCE of a lifetime. Our experienced guides pride themselves on finding places a little off the beaten track to ensure your trip is a memorable one.

Small Groups

Despite what people say, we think small is best – when it comes to travelling, that is. It means you don’t get lost or left out in the chaos of a large group and you really get to know your fellow Wild Kiwis. Be prepared to make some awesome friendships with people from around the globe – we tend to get tight on our tours!
