Ljubljana to Budapest
Departing Ljubljana we journey across the border into Hungary. The drive along the way is full of rolling hills, vineyards and the largest lake of the region, Lake Balaton. Once we reach the eclectic city of Budapest, we will spend the evening dancing away at one of the legendary ruin bars.
Blessed with an abundance of hot springs, and known to cure a macskajaj (hangover), start the day 'taking the waters' in Budapest at the famous Szechenyi baths. From there roam the city streets to spot historic remains, new flamboyant architecture, taste Hungarian goulash or take a leisurely walk along the Danube.
