Amsterdam to Brussels
Today we drive to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Discover the Grand Palace or Brussels Comic Book Museum. For lunch we'll sample some tasty Belgian dishes including mussels, frites and world famous waffles! With a glass of belgian beer, let's toast to our adventure with our Wild Kiwi family before we continue to Paris.
Brussels to Paris
After our drive into the city of love we take a driving tour of the city. We'll see treasured landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. Afterwards, we'll enjoy dinner parisian style in the Latin Quarter.
Today we have the entire day to check out all of the famous Parisian sites. Explore the Seine River by foot or by boat, be an art buff at the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, people watch at one of many sidewalk cafes, shop along the Champs-Elysees or for those young at heart, head to Disneyland Paris.
Paris to Burgundy
Av revoir Paris! Today we depart on a scenic drive and cross the border into Switzerland. On our way, we stop for lunch in the prestigious wine region, Burgundy. Sample the Burgundy wines, and other varietals, while you take in the rolling hills and wander one of the medieval villages.
Burgundy to Swiss Alps
Continuing our journey, we drive past crystal clear rivers and snow capped mountains as we get closer to the Swiss Alps. Settling in at our Alpine Resort where we will spend the next two days with some of the most spectacular views.
Today we explore all that the Swiss Alps have to offer! Enjoy a full day on the top of Mount Titlis, take a scenic train journey, find picturesque walking trails, cosy up with Swiss Cheese Fondue, or stroll through medieval landmarks in the old towns.
Swiss Alps to Monaco
As we say goodbye to the Swiss Alps and venture to the French coast we visit Monaco, the playground for the wealthy! The world's second-smallest country is known for the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo. With a bit of free time, try your luck at the tables!
Monaco to Nice
After your high-roller afternoon we finish off in a small town along the French Riviera, Nice. With its vibrant street life and stunning seaside sunsets, be sure to keep your eyes open for celebrities and stars who frequent the town!
Nice to Cinque Terre
From Nice we travel along the rugged Italian Riviera coastline, stopping at the legendary Cinque Terre villages. Partake in the cliffside walk and stop at one of the seaside villages for tasty local cuisine. Or, simply take in views of the steep terraces, colourful houses and harbours filled with fishing boats.
Cinque Terre to Pisa
Back on the road, we arrive into the exquisite Tuscan region, famous for wine, food, architecture, and a movie or two. Before settling in under the Tuscan Sun, we stop at the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa so you can grab that perfect insta photo.
Pisa to Florence
As we say goodbye to the Tuscan region, we stop in the cultural city of Florence with a walking tour of this Renaissance city. History oozes out of every pore of this artistic and cultural centre, home to Michelangelo’s ‘David’, the Duomo, and boutique shopping.
Florence to Rome
We press onwards to the Ancient City of Rome, Italy's capital. Explore the world's smallest city, The Vatican. See inside the most popular attractions such as St. Peter's Basilica, The Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, with its famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo!
Rome to Venice
Today we continue to experience everything Rome has to offer! Tour the Colosseum and Roman Forum, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain and grab gelato outside the Colosseum! Visit one of the most beautiful squares, the romantic Piazza Navona - lined with trendy cafes, shops and restaurants.
Venice to Lake Bled
We travel from Rome to Venice; a unique city, perched across 118 islands. See the world-famous St Marks Square, Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge and be sure to enjoy a legendary gondola ride, a must do in Venice!
Lake Bled to Ljunljana
Get your cameras ready, from Venice we'll head to Lake Bled for a picture-perfect experience. The blue-green lake has an island, clifftop medieval castle, and picturesque mountains allowing the perfect insta photo opportunity.
Ljubljana to Budapest
From the unforgettable lake, it's only a short drive to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Despite its small size, it features a wealth of cultures, activities and sights. Wander the breathtaking Ljubljana Castle overlooking the city dating back to the 16th Century!
Departing Ljubljana we journey across the border into Hungary. The drive along the way is full of rolling hills, vineyards and the largest lake of the region, Lake Balaton. Once we reach the eclectic city of Budapest, we will spend the evening dancing away at one of the legendary ruin bars.
Budapest to Belgrade
Blessed with an abundance of hot springs, and known to cure a macskajaj (hangover), start the day 'taking the waters' in Budapest at the famous Szechenyi baths. From there roam the city streets to spot historic remains, new flamboyant architecture, taste Hungarian goulash or take a leisurely walk along the Danube.
Belgrade to Mostar
Leaving Budapest we make our way to the capital of Serbia, Belgrade. Known as the "White City", this gritty exuberant city is considered one of Europe's most happening. Where the Sava and Danube Rivers kiss, discover the lively pedestrian boulevard of Knex Mihailova, the ancient Belgrade Fortress, Savamala quarter and Kalemegdan park.
Mostar to Split
From Belgrade we pass through a beautiful slice of the past, Mostar. This enchanting and historical town in Bosnia-Herzegovina has stunning religious buildings with Roman and Ottoman influences but the main landmark is the majestic stone arc of Stari Most Bridge.
Our journey continues into our final destination Split, Croatia's second-largest city. Explore the bustling seaside promenade, Riva or spend your last moments with your Wild Kiwi fam wandering the cobbled streets of Old Town discovering the famous Diocletian Palace.
