We begin in the Ancient City of Rome, Italy. Lucky for us we have whole day to experience everything Rome has to offer! Tour the Colosseum and Roman Forum, or 'Conquer the Capital', including the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
Rome to Venice
We travel from Rome to Venice; a unique city, perched across 118 islands. See the world-famous St Marks Square, Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge and be sure to enjoy a legendary gondola ride, a must do in Venice!
Venice to Lake Bled
Get your cameras ready, from Venice we'll head to Lake Bled for a picture-perfect experience. The blue-green lake has an island, clifftop medieval castle, and picturesque mountains allowing the perfect insta photo opportunity.
Lake Bled to Ljubljana
From the unforgettable lake, it's only a short drive to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Despite its small size, it features a wealth of cultures, activities and sights. Wander the breathtaking Ljubljana Castle overlooking the city dating back to the 16th Century!
Ljubljana to Budapest
Departing Ljubljana we journey across the border into Hungary. The drive along the way is full of rolling hills, vineyards and the largest lake of the region, Lake Balaton. Once we reach the eclectic city of Budapest, we will spend the evening dancing away at one of the legendary ruin bars.
Blessed with an abundance of hot springs, and known to cure a macskajaj (hangover), start the day 'taking the waters' in Budapest at the famous Szechenyi baths. From there roam the city streets to spot historic remains, new flamboyant architecture, taste Hungarian goulash or take a leisurely walk along the Danube.
Budapest to Bosnian Mountain Lodge
Leaving Budapest we make our way to a medieval Bosnian settlement nestled in remote mountains. Get a glimpse of village life as it would have been in centuries gone by, as we enjoy a relaxed night with a sumptuous Bosnian feast and quaint log cabins in stunning forest surroundings.
Bosnian Mountain Lodge to Mostar
We continue our journey through Bosnia Herzegovina as we pass through a beautiful slice of the past, Mostar. This enchanting and historical town has stunning religious buildings with Roman and Ottoman influences but the main landmark is the majestic stone arc of Stari Most Bridge.
Mostar to Split
Our journey continues into Split, Croatia's second-largest city. Explore the Riva, Split's bustling seafront promenade, or wander the cobbled streets of the stunning Old Town and discover the famous Diocletian Palace. Now's your chance to enjoy some delicious Dalmatian food!
Split to Krka Waterfalls
From Split we make our way inland to Croatia's largest National Park. It's no wonder why Plitvice Lakes is Croatia's most popular attraction with beautiful waterfalls, lush vegetation and countless blue-green tiered lakes.
Krka Waterfalls to Zagreb
We continue further inland to the vibrant Zagreb. Stroll through Upper Town's cobblestone streets and church spires or Lower Town's mash-up of neo-baroque and art deco buildings. Or head to the grittier pockets to see concrete walls transformed into colourful murals. Either way, this city was made for walking.
Zagreb to Graz
Leaving Zagreb behind, we head for Austria. Take in the glorious countryside as we make our way to Graz, known as an instant heart-stealer. A sea of red rooftops, abundant parkland and a beautiful bluff paint the scene for the perfect lunch stop.
Graz to Vienna
Continuing north to the capital city, Vienna, you will be captivated by its imperial palaces and baroque streetscapes. With it's buzzing modern culinary scene, along with a musical past that includes luminaries like Mozart and Beethoven, be prepared to be swept away with Vienna's charm.
Vienna to Bratislava
A short drive away we stop into Bratislava, a mosaic of illustrious history. Surrounded by vineyards and mountains, making the Bratislava castle more unique and spectacular. Don't miss the lively pedestrian-only, 18th century old town before we continue our journey.
Bratislava to Prague
This afternoon we arrive in “the City of a Hundred Spires", Prague, famous for its medieval buildings, gothic churches and beautiful riverside views. Explore the 'Old Town' or discover how Prague has claimed the title of 'beer capital of the world' with a pilsner.
Today we're lucky to experience the magic of Prague. Explore the majestic Prague Castle, Primatial Palace, the famous Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter. There is also a ‘Secret Garden’ which leads to a man-made grotto - see if you can find it!
Prague to Dresden
As we say goodbye to Prague we stop by the city of Dresden. Known for its idyllic location on the banks of the river, it's the perfect stop for lunch. Sample some mouth-watering street food bratwurst and currywurst. Enjoy walking around the beautifully paved streets admiring Baroque wonders.
Dresden to Berlin
Onwards to Germany's capital, Berlin, with it's combo of glamour and grit it is bound to mesmerise. On arrival, we'll take a driving tour of this amazing cultural city to discover the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Prussian Palace and other landmarks.
Spend the day exploring the very best of Berlin including Berlin Wall's graffiti remains. Visit one of the numerous galleries and museums or head to Museum island. With its lively culture, cutting-edge architecture, fabulous food, substantial history and intense parties, be ready for a good time!
Berlin to Amsterdam
Leaving Berlin we make our way to Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. Known for its artistic heritage and elaborate canal systems. Hop on a bike to explore the city as a local, riding past famous landmarks in this eclectic bohemian city.
