Dubrovnik to Sipan
Starting in Dubrovnik, meet your Wild Kiwi travel mates before starting your sailing adventure with MedSailors. We set sail to Sipan, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands. Spend the day on a quiet beach or check out the ruins of St Peters Church. Enjoy sunset drinks on the yacht and dinner at a local konoba (restaurant).
Calling all nature lovers, next up is the tiny green island of Mljet. Discover Mljet National Park, the salt lakes and the Benedcitine Monestary. Snorkel through hidden coves, bike through the wild pine forest or relax on untouched sandy beaches.
Next stop is Korcula island. Arriving at the small fishing village Lumbarda, spend the afternoon wine tasting or explore the sights of Old Town. Visit the Marco Polo Museum and get lost in St Marks Square. The evening is yours!
Today we sail to Loviste on the Peljesac Peninsula. Laze the day away or paddleboard in the crystal-clear turquoise water. Tuck into a top Croatian dinner and enjoy a superb sunset, topped off with an evening under the stars.
In the afternoon we reach Vrboska, a small town on the island of Hvar. Explore ancient canals, architecture and cultural sights. Fancy a party? Head over to Hvar Town and check out St Stephens Square before experiencing the best nightlife the island has to offer!
We'll start the day with breakfast and a morning swim before sailing round the island to Stari Grad, Croatia's oldest town. Explore the cobble streets and local shops or visit to the organic farm and winery, Hora vineyards. Watch the sun go down as we enjoy an epic meal in this slow-paced magical town.
The final leg of our sail takes us to Split, Croatia's second-largest city. Explore the bustling seaside promenade, Riva or spend your day wandering the cobbled streets of Old Town discovering the famous Diocletian Palace. Spend the evening enjoying delicious Dalmatian cuisine with your Wild Kiwi family!
Split to Krka Waterfalls
From Split we make our way inland to Croatia's largest National Park. Get your cameras ready as you'll experience some breathtaking scenery! With beautiful waterfalls, lush vegetation and countless blue-green tiered lakes, it's no wonder why Plitvice Lakes is Croatia's most popular attraction.
Krka Waterfalls to Zagreb
We continue further inland to the vibrant Zagreb. Stroll through Upper Town's cobblestone streets and church spires or Lower Town's mash-up of neo-baroque and art deco buildings. Or head to the grittier pockets to see concrete walls transformed into colourful murals. Either way, this city was made for walking.
Zagreb to Graz
Leaving Zagreb behind, we head for Austria. Take in the glorious countryside as we make our way to Graz, known as an instant heart-stealer. A sea of red rooftops, abundant parkland and a beautiful bluff paint the scene for the perfect lunch stop.
Graz to Vienna
Continuing north to the capital city, Vienna, you will be captivated by its imperial palaces and baroque streetscapes. With it's buzzing modern culinary scene, along with a musical past that includes luminaries like Mozart and Beethoven, be prepared to be swept away with Vienna's charm.
Vienna to Bratislava
A short drive away we stop into Bratislava, a mosaic of illustrious history. Surrounded by vineyards and mountains, making the Bratislava castle more unique and spectacular. Don't miss the lively pedestrian-only, 18th century old town before we continue our journey.
Bratislava to Prague
This afternoon we arrive in “the City of a Hundred Spires", Prague, famous for its medieval buildings, gothic churches and beautiful riverside views. Explore the 'Old Town' or discover how Prague has claimed the title of 'beer capital of the world' with a pilsner.
Today we're lucky to experience the magic of Prague. Explore the majestic Prague Castle, Primatial Palace, the famous Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter. There is also a ‘Secret Garden’ which leads to a man-made grotto - see if you can find it!
Prague to Dresden
As we say goodbye to Prague we stop by the city of Dresden. Known for its idyllic location on the banks of the river, it's the perfect stop for lunch. Sample some mouth-watering street food bratwurst and currywurst. Enjoy walking around the beautifully paved streets admiring Baroque wonders.
Dresden to Berlin
Onwards to Germany's capital, Berlin, with it's combo of glamour and grit it is bound to mesmerise. On arrival, we'll take a driving tour of this amazing cultural city to discover the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Prussian Palace and other landmarks.
Spend the day exploring the very best of Berlin including Berlin Wall's graffiti remains. Visit one of the numerous galleries and museums or head to Museum island. With its lively culture, cutting-edge architecture, fabulous food, substantial history and intense parties, be ready for a good time!
Berlin to Amsterdam
Leaving Berlin we make our way to Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. Known for its artistic heritage and elaborate canal systems. Hop on a bike to explore the city as a local, riding past famous landmarks in this eclectic bohemian city.
Amsterdam to Brussels
Today we drive to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Discover the Grand Palace or Brussels Comic Book Museum. For lunch we'll sample some tasty Belgian dishes including mussels, frites and world famous waffles! Enjoy a glass of belgian beer before we continue to Paris.
Brussels to Paris
After our drive into the city of love we take a driving tour of the city. We'll see treasured landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. Afterwards, we'll enjoy dinner parisian style in the Latin Quarter.
Today we have the entire day to check out all of the famous Parisian sites. Explore the Seine River by foot or by boat, be an art buff at the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, people watch at one of many sidewalk cafes, shop along the Champs-Elysees or for those young at heart, head to Disneyland Paris.
Paris to Burgundy
Au revoir Paris! Today we depart on a scenic drive and cross the border into Switzerland. On our way, we stop for lunch in the prestigious wine region, Burgundy. Sample the Burgundy wines, and other varietals, while you take in the rolling hills and wander one of the medieval villages.
Burgundy to Swiss Alps
Continuing our journey, we drive past crystal clear rivers and snow capped mountains as we get closer to the Swiss Alps. Settling in at our Alpine Resort where we will spend the next two days with some of the most spectacular views.
Today we explore all that the Swiss Alps have to offer! Enjoy a full day on the top of Mount Titlis, take a scenic train journey, find picturesque walking trails, cosy up with Swiss Cheese Fondue, or stroll through medieval landmarks in the old towns.
Swiss Alps to Cinque Terre
As we say goodbye to the Swiss Alps and venture to Italy to the coast. Stopping on the way in the Fashion Capital of the World, Milan before we park up in the seaside village of La Spezia.
Cinque Terre to Pisa
Spend the morning walking or via train along the rugged Italian Riviera coastline, stopping at the legendary Cinque Terre villages. Partake in the cliffside walk and stop at one of the seaside villages for tasty local cuisine. Or, simply take in views of the steep terraces, colourful houses and harbours filled with fishing boats.
Pisa to Florence
Back on the road, we arrive into the exquisite Tuscan region, famous for wine, food, architecture, and a movie or two. Before settling in under the Tuscan Sun, we stop at the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa so you can grab that perfect insta photo.
Wake up in the cultural city of Florence with a walking tour of this Renaissance city. History oozes out of every pore of this artistic and cultural centre, home to Michelangelo’s ‘David’, the Duomo, and boutique shopping.
Florence to Rome
As we continue from the Tuscan region we are headed for our last stop, Rome! Spend your final moments with your Wild Kiwi family exploring Vatican City, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain or grab gelato outside the Colosseum.
