Cheese lovers, this one’s especially for you. A slice of white bread is covered with a rich cheesy mixture and rolled up before being grilled until crisp and piping hot. If you’ve never heard of this glorious creation, one bite will leave you questioning why they haven’t been a part of your life for forever. Yes, they’re really that good!

What do you get when you take once slice of white bread, spread it with butter or margarine, cover with a generous sprinkling of hundreds and thousands, and cut it into 4 triangles? The answer is fairy bread, which has been delighting generations of children (and adults alike!) since the 1920s. New Zealander’s don’t understand why the rest of the world hasn’t also been tucking into this multi-coloured treat for generations, so it must be good.

A chewy banana flavoured centre is covered with creamy milk chocolate, and this curiously named Cadbury’s creation can’t be overlooked. We can pretty much guarantee that you won’t have tasted anything quite like this before. It’s uniquely delicious in the best possible way.

Tip Top Ice Cream

Back in 1936 BFFs Albert and Len opened their very own ice cream parlour in Wellington. And it’s been a bit of a force to be reckoned with ever since. Well, considering that New Zealand produces famously delicious milk, cream and fruit, it’s really no surprise that Tip Top ice cream is up there with some of the best on the planet. The gooey caramel Big Memphis is pretty difficult to beat, just saying!
