Our activities are optional. The beauty of this is that you can create your own adventure and decide which activities you would like to add to your tour or when you prefer to have some free time, for example, to explore the area on a hike.
As part of making the tour zero-stress, your guide will handle the bookings of all of your activities for you whilst on the road, so all you have to do is decide what to tick off your bucket list first.

Wild Kiwi considers your safety of the utmost importance. Certain weather conditions can result in a change in our itineraries in the interest of our guests’ safety. We’ll monitor the weather forecast closely for any weather that may cause last-minute changes to your holiday. If this does happen, our guide will endeavour to let you know of any possible disruption as soon as possible whilst on tour and ensure you are well looked after while making the most of your trip.
Yes, you may require a visa to enter New Zealand on your Wild Kiwi tour. We recommend reaching out to your local embassy to seek further information about visas as these are important documents to have whilst travelling. Obtaining visas and other travel documents takes time so best be prepared for this and arrange these early.
For your Wild Kiwi trip, we would recommend around $30-50 NZD for lunch and dinner plus drinks per day. Activities will be your biggest expense on the trip, so check out the activities section on our website for prices and to start planning!
