The Maori Rock Carvings Cruise offered by Chris Jolly Outdoors is a unique experience on Lake Taupō, New Zealand's largest lake. Hop aboard the 52-foot Catamaran as you head out to Mine Bay to view the impressive carvings, which were done by a local Maori artist back in 1976 and are only accessible by water.
The daily cruise leaves multiple times throughout the day. The boat is plenty spacious, with outdoor viewing platforms and indoor lounges. The whole trip takes an hour and a half and includes a complimentary muffin and a cuppa.
