Dine At The Bresolin On Your New Zealand Holidays

The team at The Bresolin LOVE to eat, with their ethos being that there are few things better in life than sharing stories with great company over a delicious meal. Their recently revamped menu is something to be marvelled at. It features calamari served with pickled cucumber, red chilli, wakame, daikon, and Japanese mayo; falafel burgers with spicy peanut slaw, lettuce, tzatziki, tomato relish and fries; and buttermilk fried chicken with sriracha and slaw, amongst many other tempting choices.

Matterhorn

An ultra-cool creative vibe and an unpretentious menu make Matterhorn one of Cuba Street’s most popular haunts. Indulge in New Zealand lamb with parsnip, black curry and mint, eggplant with miso, shiitake, kombu and silken tofu, or market fish with shiitake, butternut, and chicken wing bacon. Oh and just FYI, the cocktail menu is perfection.

Logan Brown

If unpretentious fine dining is your jam, we’ve got just the place for you. With a focus on sustainability, working with locally-sourced ingredients is a priority for this experienced and talented team. You’ll probably find their menu, featuring fresh oysters, line caught market fish and Portobello mushrooms difficult to resist. And resist you should not. It’s delicious!

Hippopotamus Restaurant

Located within the Museum Art Hotel and with stunning views of Wellington Harbour, the Hippopotamus restaurant is a pure delight in every way. The French-inspired menu is oh so tempting, with each dish bursting with flavour. A great deal of care is put into presentation and you’ll definitely find it impossible not to take a cheeky snap before you tuck in. With a dedicated vegan menu also available, everyone, regardless of dietary preferences, will have an array of delicious options to choose from. And isn’t that just the best?!
